Delightful

Delightful is a late intermediate onion. This variety produces a firm large jumbo bulb that can be easily mechanically harvested. The scale is retentive and golden brown in color. The varieties main feature is in a retail sweet onion program. The pyruvate levels on this variety are low at harvest and through storage. This variety is very versatile and can work well as a high yielding transition from early intermediates to long day onions.
