R427

R427 is one of the best expanding hybrids that Crookham Company has seen, achieving commercial combine-shelled expansions of 50 MWVT and greater. In the past, high MWVT meant lower yield, but R427 introduces a new generation of genetics where this compromise does not apply. R427 has large, orange-colored grain with excellent eating quality.
